Grassroots foundation cat

What is a Bengal cat? A bengal cat is a domesticated hybrid cross of the Asian Leopard Cat and domestic cats. The cats that typically went into the breeding program were Himalayan cats, ocicats, Egyptian Maus, Siamese cats, Burmese cats, Persian cats and others. These cats typically do well in family units where children can socialize and play with them.Generations 1-3 are considered “foundations” while generations 4 and onward are considered “SBT” studbook tradition.

Dog-esque

These cats are second only to dogs in loyalty and will act like a dog the more time you spend with them. These cats are confident and want to frequent their owners whenever possible. It is this trait which makes buying in pairs a worthwhile investment. Some customers have 12-16 hour shifts so your bengal cat will get very lonely if there isn’t anyone around for them to share their affection with. Another trait that makes bengal cats adorable is that they will remain chid-esque throughout the duration of their lives. Even as adults they will exhibit the same qualities as they did when they were kittens. In addition, these cats will have more of an affinity for water versus your traditional cat.

Sounds of love

These cats will talk to you like a Siamese cat while using a myriad of sounds and phonemes that you will instantly recognize when they want your attention. These cats are not aggressive but assertive. They will enjoy being perched on your lap or shoulder as you aimlessly wander through your abode.
